However, the aforementioned leaker has suggested that the available modes will include Slayer and Capture the Flag, along with two new additions: Attrition and King of the Hill. 343 Industries has been rather coy about this latest event. The Cyber Showdown event is set to end on January 31, 2022. This is typically when the weekly challenges reset and when 343 Industries cycles in fresh items into the store and starts events. There is an element of battle royale as well, where a ‘Danger Zone’ slowly overtakes the map and shrinks the playable space. Either team have a limited number of lives, which upon depletion, leads to victory. Players participate in 4v4 classic or competitive matches, where the entire team(s) share a big health bar. Instakill is not applicable here, and hence points can only be accumulated once the enemy has been eliminated completely.
